general information pages

The following links direct you to pages that supplement information for courses, including course policies (a must read), and some notes about me and my teaching philosophies.

course policies. A must read—the policies described here apply to all courses I teach, unless otherwise noted in the materials at the course level. Read these carefully, and contact me if you have questions. This is where I list my office hours and contact information as well.

computing grades. Another important document. This explains how I compute assignment grades and course grades. The main link is to a pdf file; you can also access it as an rtf (ComputingGrades.rtf).

about me. Just in case you missed the introduction I offered on the welcome page, this will take you back to it. Some of it might prove useful.
