Political Science Department Faculty Courses Lee Trepanier Associate Professor of Political Science
Dr. Trepanier is an Associate Professor of Political Science with tenure at Saginaw Valley State University. He is also an Academic Fellow of the Russell Kirk Center and one of the editors of the VoegelinView and the Lehrman American Studies Center. At Saginaw Valley State University, Dr. Trepanier teaches courses in political philosophy as well as the Introduction to Political Science and World Politics courses. He received his B.A. in Political Science and English Literature with a Minor in Russian Studies at Marquette University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in the Political Science at Louisiana State University. Dr. Trepanier's research is in Russian and Asian politics; politics, literature, and film; religion and politics; and political philosophy with a focus on classical and postmodern thought and the works of Eric Voegelin.
