Dr. Trepanier is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Saginaw Valley State
University. He teaches courses in political philosophy as well as the Introduction to
Political Science course. Dr. Trepanier received his B.A. in Political Science and
English Literature with a Minor in Russian Studies at Marquette University and his
M.A. and Ph.D. in the Political Science at Louisiana State University. His research
is in religion and politics; politics, literature, and film; and political philosophy with
a focus on the work of Eric Voegelin. In his leisure time, he enjoys classical music,
traveling, and poetry.
